Activation Fee
- Members will be charged an activation fee equal to one month of the monthly membership at the time of account activation.

Monthly Option
Through our convenient bank draft/credit card plan, monthly dues are automatically transferred from a debit or credit card account. You are a member for as long as you choose. Therefore, the draft payment is automatically renewed until you tell us in writing to stop drafting your account. Monthly bank drafts are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Annual Option
This one-time annual payment is a 5% savings off the monthly payment. An annual membership is effective for one year from the activation date. Annual members receive a notice one month prior to the renewal date. Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Uncollected Membership Draft & Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF)
If a monthly membership draft is returned for any reason, the member will be charged the monthly amount and a non-refundable $25.00 service fee. Any unpaid balance must be paid prior to regaining facility access or registering for another program.
Nationwide Membership
The James Family Prescott YMCA participates in the Nationwide Membership program, and you can use your local membership to access other participating YMCA facilities across the country. When members from other locations visit our facility in Prescott, we know they have passed background checks and are in good standing. Nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time. All nationwide member visitors must present picture identification and complete a waiver of liability form prior to entry into the Y.
Membership Cancellation
- If you need to cancel your membership, we recommend cancelling the membership in person to minimize confusion and to ensure the transaction is completed as expected.
- If you choose to reactivate your account within 90 days of the cancellation date, you will not be charged a reactivation fee.
- To request cancellation via the contact us form on this website, clearly state that you are requesting to cancel your membership, provide your member ID number, and list all of the people on your account. After submitting your request, please contact the James Family Prescott YMCA to confirm receipt of your request.
- Cancellations must be submitted by the 25th of the month in order to be processed and to take effect before the next month’s billing cycle.
- It is your responsibility to verify the bank draft has been stopped by checking your bank statement or by calling your bank within 30 days of cancelling your membership.
Credits & Refunds
- Credits and refunds are not available for membership dues and activation fees.
- The James Family Prescott YMCA reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet minimum enrollment. Members will have the option of a credit or refund for cancelled programs that have been paid for.
- If a participant discontinues a program less than one week prior to its start, the YMCA will retain a 25% service fee. The balance will be issued as a credit voucher for use at the James Family Prescott YMCA. After the program has met once, no credits will be issued. In case of a medical emergency, a credit voucher will be issued for future use at the James Family Prescott YMCA. Credit vouchers may be presented at time of registration toward any class or membership. Cash credits and refunds are not available.
- In order to keep facilities in the best possible condition, the YMCA or portions of the YMCA may close temporarily for repairs and renovations. There will be no adjustments or refunds of dues for these periods.
Membership Cards
To expedite your check-in process, please have your membership card or Daxko mobile app ready to be scanned. If you forget your card, you will be redirected to the membership desk. The use of a membership card by anyone other than by whom it is issued may result in the loss of membership privileges. Lost cards can be replaced for a $5.00 fee.
