NinjaZone at the James Family Prescott YMCA offers classes for children up to 5 years of age that serve as the building blocks of athleticism in preschoolers. Classes are designed to develop coordination, confidence, and self-independence, while having fun and learning awesome ninja moves!
Our instructor will teach and choreograph fun and safe classes that create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Opportunities for older children (boys and girls), 5 years of age and older, exist through our Ninja classes.
Open to boys and girls, walking through 3 years of age.
Children develop listening skills, fundamental movement, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, and our NinjaZone character-building component. This is a great activity to do together while watching your little one(s) grow, connect, gain confidence, and have fun.
Open to boys and girls, from 3 to 5 years of age.
Children learn to try new things and work through frustration while developing listening skills and manners. We accomplish this through a strategic mix of skills and progressions.

YMCA membership is required for NinjaZone participation. A $30 non-refundable registration fee is required annually, valid from February 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026. The fee is not prorated.
In an effort to promote discipline and unity, uniforms are required for all NinjaZone classes. Participants are required to wear their uniform (level-specific headband and shirt) to each class. This is not only to promote a team and peer bond but to encourage self-responsibility.
