Welcome

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your interest in our plans to build a new YMCA Community Center in Prescott Valley.

Together, we can provide a welcoming environment for our children and families to meet, connect, and engage in healthy activities that support happiness and well-being in the community.

The new YMCA will be centrally located in Prescott Valley and will be an ideal gathering place for people of all ages to support each other, develop friendships, and to serve as role models and mentors for our youth.

The two-level complex, planned for five acres of land adjacent to Bob Edwards Park in the Prescott Valley Town Center, will encompass approximately 45,000 square feet of space to support a wide variety of healthy activities.

The proposed features include a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports amenities, plenty of space and equipment for fitness and training, multigenerational maker space, an outdoor splash pad, child care facilities, and much more.

Daycare and afterschool programs at the Y will be a great benefit to local moms and dads.  Many families struggle to find appropriate care for their children, and access to affordable, quality child care is a priority for the community. It’s estimated that 3,000 children from birth to age 5 need child care in Prescott Valley. Sadly, there is currently only capacity for 1,000 children. By working together, we can improve this situation and provide more resources for local families.

The YMCA is one of the nation’s leading non-profits with over 175 years of dedicated service. The YMCA experience is available to all, and the new facility will serve as a true community center for everyone in Prescott Valley.

I hope you will join us on this journey, and I encourage you to learn more about our proposed Features and Programs for Prescott Valley and the opportunities to support the project through Donations, Sponsorships and Naming Rights.
