Membership Category Clarifications
An Adult Household consists of 2 adults who reside under the same roof and actively contribute tot he operation/expenses for the household or who depend upon that household for support.  Children under the age of 18 who reside in and are wholly dependant upon that household for support and maintenance may be considered part of the household.  Children ages 18-22 may be added if living at home or attending college.

Activity Age Guidelines
Children 6 weeks to 9 years are welcome to visit the Kid Zone while their parents work out.  Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the facility.

Included Activities
Your membership includes swimming lesson per week per child during the regular swim season (March - September) and one gymnastics class per week per child.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Membership dues and joining fees are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Thirty-day advance notice is given to all members in the event of a small membership rate increase.

  • Joiner Fee
    The joining fee is required for first time full facility memberships only and is non-refundable. The joining fee is a one time fee that is set aside for improvements of the building, new equipment or other capital projects.
  • Monthly Option
    Through our convenient bank draft/credit card plan, monthly dues are automatically transferred from a checking, savings or credit card account. ATM/Debit Cards can not be used for a monthly draft. You are a member for as long as you choose. Therefore, the draft payment is automatically renewed until you tell us in writing to stop drafting your account. Monthly bank drafts are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Annual Option
    This one-time annual payment is a 5% savings off the monthly payment. An annual membership is effective for one year from the joining date. Annual members receive a notice one month prior to the renewal date. Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Insufficient Funds
    A $5.00 fee will be assessed for uncollected bank/credit card drafts due to insufficient funds. A $15 fee will be assessed on returned checks.
  • Membership Cancellation
    All cancellations should be made in person at the Prescott YMCA, or in writing via fax (445-5135) or US Mail. Please do not email cancellation requests. Cancellations cannot be made over the phone. The YMCA will provide verification of your cancellation. Please retain this as proof of the cancellation. It is the member’s responsibility to verify that the bank draft has been stopped. Should the YMCA, following cancellation of the membership, continue to draft the account, the member should notify the YMCA within 30 days.  Notice of cancellation should be received on or before the 25th of the month in order to become effective the first of the following month.
  • Credits and Refunds
    Credits and refunds are not available on membership dues and joining fees.
    The Prescott YMCA reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet minimum enrollment. Members will have the option of a credit or refund for classes (paid for) cancelled.
    If a participant drops out of a class less than one week prior to its start, the Prescott YMCA will retain a 25% service fee. The balance will be issued as a credit slip for use at the Prescott YMCA. After class has met once, no credits will be issued. I n case of medical emergency, a credit slip will be issued for future use at the Prescott YMCA. Credit slips may be presented at time of registration toward any class or membership.
    Cash Credits and refunds are not available

Financial Assistance
The YMCA does not turn away those in need. We ensure participation in our programs. Financial assistance is available through generous donations to our Annual Current Support Campaign. Scholarship applications are available at the Membership Desk and as a download here: Financial Aid Application

Membership Cards
Help protect the value of your membership. Please present your membership card to be scanned at each visit. Use of a membership card by others than to whom it is issued will result in the loss of membership privileges.

If you forget your membership card, you will be asked to complete a form for our records. First priority service will be given to members who have their cards with them.

Day Use Fee
Day passes are available to the public.  In the event that the pool is closed due to lightning in the area, refunds will not be given, however you may request a day pass which you can use for a future visit.

  • Children through age 17 are $3.00 for use of pool, climbing wall and gymnasium.
  • Children under the age of 15 cannot use the Fitness Center without direct adult supervision unless he/she has completed the Club Fit program.
  • Children age 14 and up $10.00 for use of the Fitness Center
  • Adult 18 years and up: $5 daily fee for use of climbing wall only
  • Adult 18 years and up: $10.00 for use of all facilities

A.W.A.Y. Program
The YMCA is part of a national reciprocal membership program called "Always Welcome at YMCAs." If you are visiting another city that has a participating YMCA, you may be able to use their facility.

Locker Use/Valuables
Lockers are available for day use by members and guests. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We strongly recommend you do not bring valuables into the facility and that you always secure your belongings. Locks may be purchased at the Courtesy Counter.

NON-SMOKING POLICY
The Prescott YMCA is a family-oriented facility. Please refrain from using tobacco, drugs and alcohol on the premises. Thank you for your cooperation.
