In the next three months, the anticipated expansion of the Fitness
Center and Child Care facilities should begin. The additions to the
Fitness Center will include a new aerobic room, cardiovascular room and
expanded weight room area. The YMCA will continue the fundraising campaign
in order to raise the million dollars still needed to finance the
project.

Q. What does the Capital Campaign Seek to Accomplish?
A.
The $2Million Capital Campaign will provide the necessary funds for the
Prescott YMCA to expand its facility in order to serve youth, adults
and families with greater program options and additional space to serve
a larger number of children in childcare. Fitness Center space will
enable the YMCA to serve a larger number of students, adults and
seniors. The purchase of Badger Park will enable the YMCA to plan for
future recreational expansion.
Q. What Construction Projects are Planned?

The plan proposes to purchase 2.6 acres of land adjoining the YMCA,
build a youth and adult multipurpose center that includes: expanded
space for Health and Wellness and childcare space that will help the
YMCA serve an additional 115 boys and girls in childcare and
afterschool programs. The third component of the construction includes
surfacing the parking lot on the north side of the campus.
Due to a generous gift from the Lindquist Family and the James
Foundation, the Prescott YMCA has been able to purchase Badger Park to
the east of the campus. Renamed th Lindquist Family Park, this space
is dedicated for recreation provided by the Prescott YMCA.

focus on the interests and needs of the Prescott community. With

small, will be of great help. There are many naming opportunities
available for those who seek to make substantial gifts to the
campaign. This is an appropriate way to memorialize a loved one or
honor someone from your own experience. Pledges may be paid over a
three-year period in a manner that helps you to make a significant gift.

A. Absolutely! Prescott YMCA is classified as a 501©3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

Yes. Assets such as stock, bonds or real estate may be donated to this
campaign. This may enable you to make a substantially larger gift than
you would otherwise be able to make. Such gifts may also result in tax
