We offer a variety of group exercise classes that will get your heart pumping and build cardio stamina while burning calories.

Traditional Fitness Classes 

Circuit Boot Camp: Class meets in the Gym where we play with all the toys.  Bosu Balls, medicine ball, run, jump, play.
No sergeants only coaches in this group.  Cardio, strength and agility training.         

Bosu Step/ Bosu Training: Using the Bosu along with a step this class will challenge your balance, core, and cardiovascular system to create a more balanced body.

Extreme Core (Abs & Back):  This class will improve your strength, posture, balance and flexibility with exercises based on the principals of Pilates, yoga and traditional strength training.  May use balls and bands.

Gentle Yoga:  A gentle yoga class geared toward the person who may have limitations that prevent them from attending a typical yoga class.
 
Kickboxing Fusion:  Kickboxing combines martial arts and boxing moves with cardio training to increase muscular strength and endurance, agility, coordination flexibility.  This is an energizing workout.  You not only burn calories, but you can burn off a little stress too.  The plus is extra time added on for strength and core training.

Light and Lively:  Light intensity, low impact class design for the beginner fitness enthusiasm.  This class is a step up for our New Age chair class and a step down from our Y-Fit low impact class.  Feel lively the rest of the day after taking this fun and energetic class.

Ladies Hoops:  Ladies this is your turn to play in the gymnasium.  Meet for a fun basketball style warm-up and drill training and than play some hoops. 

Moms in Motion:  These are prenatal and postnatal classes that provide a chance for New Moms to workout with her newborn or workout while pregnant.  Mommy & Me babies may be in packs or in strollers during class period while Moms exercise together.  Prenatal classes are Prenatal Yoga is open for prenatal moms and post natal with babies under four months. 

New A.G.E (Age Gracefully Exercising): This class is designed for the individual who has always felt that a fitness class was beyond their reach.  Most exercises are done sitting from a chair.  Includes breathing, stretching, walking, balance posture, and resistance exercises in a social setting. 

NIA:  NIA combines movements and concepts from Yoga, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, jazz, Modern Dance and other movement forms. NIA offers total-body cardiovascular conditioning and all NIA movements are adaptable and can be personalized for any level of fitness and agility.

Pilates:  This class is designed to train the body in proper alignment using the strength of the smaller muscles to develop balance throughout the body.  Pilates will help create a longer, leaner look. Stand taller, feel more powerful and breathe more deeply.  Pilates classes vary with instructors.  Check with instructor to see which class may be right for you.  Classes taught by a Certified Stott Instructor.

PiYo:  PiYo is a fusion style strength and flexibility mat class.  It combines Pilates, Yoga and strength condition in a flowing sequence designed for those who like to move with grace and power. 
 
Pumping Iron: This is group weight training at it best.  Working with a weighted barbell you adjust from 5 to 40 lbs and hand weights.  You build strength, stamina and develop a leaner body.  Free weights, bands, tubing, bosu balls, and stability balls are also used in this class.

Self Defense:  This class in ongoing.  The instructor teaches self defense tactics for both men and women.  This class is good for someone interested in being able to defend themselves.  You will learn by practicing the moves.  Ages 12 and up.

Six Pack Attack:  Do you want new ways to work your abs?  Try this 15 minutes of an abdominals only workout.  Please come in already warmed up and ready to go.

Spinning Classes:  Spinning is group cycling in our Spinning studio.  Spinning is a great cardio workout and is appropriate for all fitness levels.  You can adjust your workout to match your personal level.  The instructors will lead you on a ride designed to improve your fitness on a variety of levels, Endurance, Strength, Interval, All-Terrain and Training.  Please see descriptions posted by Spinning Room for specifics

Step:  For a more advanced cardio class try this fun, upbeat challenging workout! A high intensity, low impact aerobic program, step involves stepping up and down on an adjustable platform while performing a variety of movements and routines. 

Stretch & Flex:  Stretching and range of motion for the muscles and joints of the body.  Class time is used to help strengthen core stabilizing techniques to build a stronger and more flexible body. 

Tai Chi Chih:  A style of martial arts which uses movements in a slow series to create warmth in the body.  This is a wonderful gentle workout which focuses on the harmony of body and mind.

WOW - Women on Weights:
  Great for the beginning exerciser, W.O.W utilizes hand held weights, bands, balls, tubing and body weight to tone and strengthen the body. 

Y- Fit:  Low impact aerobics at its best.  This class is a traditional low-impact class with warm-ups, cardio section, and standing or floor strength work, and stretch. 

Yoga:  Yoga is a style of movement utilizing different poses which can work to increase strength, balance, flexibility and mental focus.  We offer a variety of Yoga styles so please refer to the schedule for specifics.

Zumba™:  Add a dollop of salsa, dash of calypso to a slice of meringue, stir the mix to Latin music and they call it Zumba.  A dance exercise workout. 
Be ready to sweat to Latin rhythms. 

Zumba Gold:  A dance exercise mix of Latin style dances plus rock and roll.  This class is designed for those who are young at heart.
