Members of the Prescott YMCA staff are happy to give you a tour of the completed $1.5 million construction project which includes over 8,000 additional square feet of health-enhancement space. In the new Fitness Center addition, you will find cutting-edge cardiovascular and weight equipment, and flat-screen televisions with audio plug-ins. Everything you need for a comprehensive work-out is accommodated in the new facility. There is even an outdoor track and beautiful park.
At the YMCA, our staff believes that health encompasses the body, mind and spirit. On behalf of the staff at the Prescott YMCA, we hope you will enjoy all of the value-added benefits to your YMCA.
In difficult economic times, the YMCA is an ideal alternative for family recreation. Spend a day at the YMCA and try new classes and activities. With family as a guiding principle, we reach out to our community to join your Prescott YMCA.
The Prescott YMCA has ongoing fundraising goals. Your support is always appreciated:
Q. Why Should I Support the Prescott YMCA?
A. The Prescott YMCA is a place where individuals of all ages and ability levels may feel welcome. It is a mission driven organization with a focus on the interests and needs of the Prescott community. With participation in Y programs, lives are changed for the better and children will receive the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. You and your family members will directly benefit from this project. Support for the campaign affirms that Prescott values the health and well-being of its community.
Q. How Much Should I Contribute?
A. Contributions are personal decisions. All contributions, large or small, will be of great help. There are many naming opportunities available for those who seek to make substantial gifts to the campaign. This is an appropriate way to memorialize a loved one or honor someone from your own experience. Pledges may be paid over a three-year period in a manner that helps you to make a significant gift.
Q. Are Gifts Tax Deductible?
A. Absolutely! Prescott YMCA is classified as a 501©3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
Q. Are Gifts Other Than Cash Acceptable?
A. Yes. Assets such as stock, bonds or real estate may be donated to this campaign. This may enable you to make a substantially larger gift than you would otherwise be able to make. Such gifts may also result in tax benefits to you.
