School Holiday Day Camps

Welcome to YMCA, where the 150 + year old tradition of building strong kids happens right in your own neighborhood! YMCA camp counselors and staff engage kids in great activities that encourage fairness and friendship. Honesty, respect, responsibility and caring are the four core values the YMCA believes build healthy kids.

The Prescott YMCA offers day camp opportunities for school aged children during school breaks. Day camps are available during the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall breaks.

Hours of Operation:
Day Camp Hours:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Extended Daycare Hours:  6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Annual Registration Fee:
There is a $30 annual registration fee required to register in all camps unless you have already paid the annual registration fee through another Prescott YMCA childcare program.

YMCA Kinder Camp

Co-Ed Children ages 2 (non diapered) – 5

Children will participate in fun activities. The children will swim more often, engage in outdoor activities and enjoy the theme weeks. Parents are asked to sign up for five days a week; there is no part-time camp opportunity in the preschool age camp.

Cost: Members: $90 per week
Community Members: $100 per week.

YMCA Day Camp

Co-Ed Children grades K – 5th
A portion of camp time is spent in an outdoor environment. Other activities and opportunities provided include swimming, field trips, songs and games, arts and crafts, and sports. Every Friday we will dress up like the theme of the week.

Cost: Members: $18 a day
Community Members: $20 a day

YMCA Adventure Camp

Co-Ed Children grades 5th – 8th
This camp includes field trips, theme weeks and a variety of activities in a natural outdoor environment and is organized with older children in mind.

Cost: Members: $18 a day
Community Members: $20 a day

L.I.T. ~Leaders in Training Program

Co-Ed Youth ages 13-15

The Leadership Development programs at YMCA Camps, Leader-In-Training (LIT) is designed to develop, refine and practice leadership skills within the context of the day camp community. To be an eligible candidate for a Leadership Development program, applicants must be at least 13 years of age and no older than 15 years of age. Anyone participating in this program will need to apply for this opportunity, go through an interview process, provide references, and be accepted into this program.

Hours: 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
Cost: Members: $25 a week   Community Members: $30 a week
